IoT Scotland Approved to provide Services to the Public Sector

North, the operator of IoT Scotland, has been appointed as an approved supplier for the provision of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and services on the Scottish Government’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) framework.

DPS is an electronic system of pre-qualified suppliers that gives public sector organisations access to an audited supply chain and ultimately a more efficient procurement route.

The new IoT DPS provides public sector organisations, such as central government, healthcare, local authorities and universities and colleges with access to a wide range of IoT technologies and services, such as access to Scotland’s National IoT network – IoT Scotland.

The Dynamic Purchasing System for the provision of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and services went live on 6 September 2019 and will end on 5 September 2021.
